Jean-Marie Guéhenno is a former French diplomat and director of the SIPA Kent Leadership Programme on Conflict Resolution at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in New York. Between 2000 to 2008, Guéhenno served as the UN undersecretary-general for peacekeeping operations and was also president and chief executive of the organisation International Crisis Group between 2014 and 2017.
