Kirsten Schuijt is director general of WWF International. She has worked with the conservation organisation for the past 20 years, including as chief executive of WWF Netherlands from 2016 to 2022. She holds a PhD in environmental sciences from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and a Master's in international economics from the University of Maastricht.
